Costa Rica
embarked on implementing ecotourism programs for two primary
reasons: first, because tourism is one of the fastest growing
sectors of many economies in Latin America and because of its
ability to generate needed foreign exchangeþwhich is critical for
developing countries. Second, ecotourism has been argued to be a
win-win situation for local inhabitants, the environment, as well
as the economy in general as the country moves toward achieving
sustainable development.

This last weekend I went to see the Bucket List with
a friend of mine for his 34th birthday. It was a decent movie with a
great message, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to
anyone. If you are not familiar with the movie, it is about two older
men (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) who are dying of cancer.
They make a "Bucket List" which is a list of things that they would
like to do before they "kick the bucket."

What is Pura Vida?
Pura Vida! Pura Vida, literally translated means
"Pure Life" but means contextually something approximate to
"Full of Life" "Purified life", "This is
living!", "Going great", or "Cool!" Costa Ricans use
the phrase to express something akin to a philosophy of strong community,
perseverance, good spirits, and enjoying life slowly and celebrating good
fortune of magnitudes small and large alike.- Wikipedia.com
